About Pick Your Plot

Most story apps hand you a catalogue and hope something fits. We start from the other end: you tell us the plot, and we write the story around it.

Give us two characters and whatever is standing between them. Answer three quick multiple-choice questions so we know who makes the first move, where it happens, and how it ends. Within a minute, chapter one is written and waiting for you. From there you can keep reading, steer the next chapter, or start a new story entirely.

Who makes this

Pick Your Plot is built by RedQuill, a product of Innerworlds, Inc. Stories you start here are read and continued in your RedQuill account at redquill.net. RedQuill is a platform for adult readers; you must be 18 or older to create an account, and story content settings are chosen in your account after you sign up.

Free to start

Your first stories are free. A paid plan adds more chapters per day and extra features, but you can read what we write for you here without paying anything.
